Kudos To Three of Members of the 2008 AFL All-Rookie Team

As the Arena Football League (“AFL”) 2008 season comes to an end, the league announces its selection for the 2008 AFL All-Rookie Team.

The lone quarterback in the group is Duke University’s alum D. Bryant, who after being named the starter midseason for the Kansas City Brigade led the team with 2340 passing yards connecting for 40 touchdowns and rushing for an additional 12 touchdowns.

Former Clemson University Defensive End Maurice Fountain is one of the three Defensive Linemen selected, Fountain who pays for the Utah Blaze was named a starter in week 8 when the Blaze played the San Jose Sabercats. Fountain had an individual-team high of 4 Tackles, 1 Pass Break Up and 2 Sacks in that game.

Farouk Adelekan is another Defensive End selected by AFL for the All-Rookie Team. Farouk who played at the University of Houston, made a mark as a rookie defensive line for the New York Dragons. He record 30 Tackles, 4 Sacks, 9 Quarterback Hurries, 1 Pass Defended, 2 Fumble Recoveries and 1 Forced Fumble. Both Adelekan and Fountain will be enjoying their teams’ advancement to the playoffs, and are excited about their chances. Alice Meikle, President of AMM Sports Management LLC of North Miami Beach, Florida who represents all three rookies says she is excited about her clients who are like family to her.
